On March 20, 2011 El Salvador hosted the closing ceremony of the International FIE Coaching Seminar for the Pan-American continent. The coaching seminar was held at a high professional level. At the end of the seminar, all coaches have successfully passed the exams. The teachers Peter Kuki and Hugues Lesseur applied the exams at the seminar. At the closing ceremony of the seminar, all the coaches received a diploma from FIE. At the seminar in El Salvador, were participated coaches from 22 countries, this is a record number of participating countries at FIE seminars in the Pan American continent.

All the participants prepared a letter for the President of the FIE Mr. Alisher Usmanov. “ We are writing to thank you for your collaboration and unconditional support in all aspects, allowing us to participate representing our national fencing federations, in the Pan-American coaching seminar, specialized in foil, which was performed excellently in the city of San Salvador from 07 to 21 of March 2011.

We believe that under your management of the FIE, fencing in the world, and especially in Pan America, will continue to progress and we have no doubt that the future of this beautiful sport is assured in good hands.
